Crochet Tooth Stitch Tutorial | ONE ROW REPEAT👍

hello and welcome to my channel in this
tutorial we’re gonna do that tooth stitch it looks like a tooth it’s
reversible it’s very easy to do this stitch and it’s only one row repeat you
have the chains to here in case you wanna make a blanket you can attach some
some border it looks like this it’s very easy and if you want you can work this
stitch with thin yarn and that looks like you know for like shows for wraps
or that kind of thing okay this stitch works with any numbers
of chain you want to chain you can chain even odd it doesn’t matter yeah so I
chained here I don’t know 13 I think so we’re gonna skip the three chains one
two three and in the fourth we’re gonna do yarn over the hook we’re gonna go in
the fourth chain pull up a loop yarn over pull the yarn to the first two
loops yarn over and if you see here we have one line and the second line here
we’re gonna go through this line so yarn over the hook go through that line pull
up a loop you have four loops on your hook grab the yarn and pull the yarn
through all four loops yarn over the hook I’m gonna move to the next chain
and we’re gonna do the same you go into the chain pull up a loop you have three
loops pull the yarn through the first two loops yarn over the hook and now as
you can see we have one line here and one here so we’re going to go through
this line so we on over the hook go behind that line pull up a loop you have
four loops pull the yarn through all four loops and we’re gonna do like this
yarn over the hook move to the next chain
insert you hook in there put up a loop yarn over pull the yarn to the first two
loops yarn over and we’re going to go through this line underneath that pull
up a loop you have four loops pull the yarn through all four loops yarn over
the hook move to the next chain and we’re gonna do the same yeah no but the
hook and then you’re gonna go you see you have two lines here so we’re gonna
go through this one underneath that put up a loop four loops on the hook yarn
over pull the yarn through all four loops move to the next chain pull up a
loop yarn over pull the yarn to the first two loops yarn over and go behind
this line underneath that line pick up a loop yarn over pull the yarn through all
four loops move to the next chain and we’re gonna do the same yarn over and
you’re gonna go behind this line pull up a loop you have four loops grab the yarn
and pull the yarn through all four loops it’s gonna look like this it’s like a
tooth with the root weird so you move to the next chain and you do the same pull
up a loop yarn over pull the yarn through the first two loops yarn over
and you’re gonna go behind this line underneath that line pick up a loop you
have four loops pull the yarn through all four loops are you gonna do like
this on and on and on until you finish down the row go underneath that line put up a loop you have four loops pull
the yarn through all four groups move to the next chain yarn over the hook and go behind this
line underneath that put up a loop you have four loops pull the yarn through
all four loops yarn over the hook and the last chain is here I’m gonna do the
same Natha loop pass the yarn to the first two loops yarn over the hook go
behind this line underneath that line pick up a loop pull the yarn through all
four loops chain three and when you make this third one leave it a little bit
loose turn your work and now you’re gonna skip this one and go into the next pull up a loop go behind underneath this this line up a
loop pull the yarn through all four loops yarn over the hook and you’re
gonna go to the next stitch and you’re gonna do the same and I think this looks
nice with the I will say with this thin yarn for a shawl and I’m working this
yarn I think it requires five millimeter crochet hook but I use the six just to
make sure that you can see the stitches so yarn over the hook you go to the next
stitch you pull up a loop grab the yarn and pull the yarn to the first two loops
yarn over the hook and go underneath this line up a loop and pull the yarn
through all four loops it looks like a tooth so you move to the next stitch and
you do the same yarn over the hook and you go behind that line four loops pull
the yarn through all four loops you do like this for loops pull the yarn through all four
loops you keep doing like this but with a with a thick yarn it’s much easier to
work this with a thin yarn going underneath this line it’s a little bit
sometimes not always it’ll be difficult till the last digits here yarn over the
hook you go into that stitch you pull up a loop past a onto the first two loops
yarn over the hook go underneath that line pick up a loop we have four loops
pull the yarn through all four loops yarn over the hook and we have this
chain three that waste we skipped in the beginning so you’re going to go on top
of the third chain first second and third so you’re going to go on top of
the third chain let’s say and you’re going to do a double crochet do a double
crochet chain three click this one a little Q’s turn your work it’s going to
look like this yeah nobody hook you’re gonna skip this
one and you’re gonna go into the next you’re gonna do the same go underneath
that line pick up a book you have four loops pull the yarn through all four
loops yarn over the hook move to the next stitch and do the same pull up a
loop pull the yarn to the first two loops yarn over the hook and go
underneath that line four loops pull the yarn through all four loops and so on
it’s a very easy fast stitch it kind of loose a little bit like like a mesh
especially if you work with a thin yarn it’s gonna be like like a mesh that’s
why I said it’s nice to make a shawl and all that like a wrap or you want a
summer blanket so you keep doing like this move to the next stitch pull up a
loop pull Diane to the first two loops yarn over the hook go underneath that
line pick up a loop you have four loops pull the yarn through all four loops yarn over the hook go underneath that
line yeah it’s it’s easy it’s fast if you work with the with the thick yarn
or pump even if maybe the yarn is not thick but if you work with a smaller
crochet hook that will will be a little bit more dense I’m using the 6.0 and
it’s kind of loose so the last stitch it’s here we’re gonna go in there and
we’re gonna do the same pull up a loop past a onto the first two loops yarn
over the hook go underneath that line pick up a loop four loops pull the yarn
through all four loops yarn over the hook and you have the chain three go on
top of the third chain this one that’s why I said leave the third one a little
bit loose would be easy to get in so do a double crochet you want to chain three
one to leave a bit loose third then you’re gonna start again yarn over the
hook you’re gonna skip this one and in the next stitch you’re gonna do the same
pull up a loop pull the yarn through the first two loops yarn over the hook and
you go underneath this line couple it for loops pull the yarn through all four
loops so that’s about it it’s a very easy fast stitch but I think will look
much nicer if you work with thin yarn if you work with let’s say this kind of
young then you’re gonna use a smaller crochet then I’m using maybe the right
size if you don’t want so loose
because this is loose so you can work with a smaller one it’s going to be much
tighter so this is it this is the stitch is that it’s like a little bit modified
the stitch that I did for the beginner blanket the stitch for the blanket for
beginners so it’s just instead of going you know under we just go on that that
line it’s very easy but it changes it changes looks like like a two
with the route okay well if you like this stitch give it a try this one too I
worked the sample and the yarn it’s not thick enough and I used the 6.0
millimeter so if you like tighter and denser then you wanna use a smaller
crochet hook number so nice that it’s reversible it’s something different and
it’s simple and it’s fast so you can do anything you like with this stitch okay
well I hope you enjoyed the tutorial have fun with the stitch thank you for
watching bye bye
