Tooth Extraction


if your tooth is badly decayed and it
can’t be saved your dentist may recommend a tooth extraction a tooth
extraction is a common surgical procedure before leaving the dentist’s
office a gauze pack may be applied to the extraction site to reduce bleeding
leave the gauze in your mouth for about 30 to 45 minutes if the bleeding
continues remove the gauze and apply fresh damp gauze to the area if you have
nausea or vomiting or notice heavier bleeding contact your dentist
immediately continue to floss and brush your teeth twice daily but avoid the
teeth next to the healing socket gently rinse your mouth but avoid mouthwash for
the first few days if you follow these simple guidelines your mouth should be
